Chef Randy Duncan is a Highest-Honors Graduate of Houston Community College. Achieving an Associate Degree in the Culinary Arts, and a Bachelor Degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from the Conrad N. Hilton College, and The University of Houston. Earning Phi Theta Kappa & Dean’s List recognition’s.

Chef Duncan is currently doing Pop-Ups in the Katy area. Offering Full-Service Catering, On-Site Food Truck or Trailer Smoker, and Local Deliveries. He’s spent his entire life working in upscale kitchens across Houston. The Four Seasons Hotel, House of Blues, and the Omni Hotel Westside, to name a few. During this time, he gathered the training and hands-on experience working under Master Chefs to pursue his own catering business in 2017, Daddy Duncan’s BBQ. Chef Duncan learned the Low & Slow techniques of Central Texas Style Barbecue from his Grandpa Duncan from an early age, and proudly continues his Grandfather’s legacy. Daddy Duncan’s BBQ may be somewhat new to the barbecue scene, but Chef Duncan’s team is highly-trained professionals in all aspects of the hospitality industry.

Chef Duncan continues to strive for excellence bringing the best barbecue to Katy, and the Greater Houston Area. His Smoked Brisket & Pulled Pork is hands-down the crowd favorite and sure to please any palate. The flavors of Chef Duncan’s culinary training shine with his 14 Hour Smoked Briskets & Pulled Pork, Pork Belly Mac & Cheese, Braised Beef Cheek Barbacoa, and Bourbon Glazed Pork Ribs. Surely to impress any Barbecue Enthusiast.

Daddy Duncan’s BBQ teamed up with Local Katy Businesses, to create Barbecue Fusions. Including the Pizza Shoppe, (Texas Brisket Pizza) Proud Pie, (Proud Daddy Sandwich) and Glaze Doughnuts, (Smoked Brisket Kolache).
